Remo Williams--The Adventure Begins: Bear Edition
The beginning of my trip was surprisingly unemotional. I've been calm ever since I left work yesterday. I slept well in the box of mothballs, I mean motel last night and took my time getting started. It took me roughly two hours and three miles to have a bear encounter. I was hiking along when thirty feet to my right a shadow started running away from me like a freight train knocking saplings out if the way. It was heavy enough that i could hear its paws hitting the ground. It was amazing. Im sitting in camp with two dudes thru hiking the at south. It'll be cool to have company tonight. Ill have to figure out how to send pics later.
