Friends

Day 113

Thru-hiking is a challenge that brings people together from all backgrounds and nationalities. We are from NYC and our fellow campmates are from Vancouver and Idaho. These friends know what you've gone through and it's fun to run into them when you least expect it.

Now to today...

After a decent hike this morning we landed in Burney Falls, CA. We set up shop at a pizza place, then we ran into our two friends who had caught up. We went and got any necessary supplies and got back to the trail and to a relaxing camp. We spent the time before a dinner of salami wrapped hot dogs swimming in the low California sunlight- it was awesome.

After dinner and a few beers we all go to bed ready to continue north tomorrow.
