Day 109

We woke up next to a busy road. Gathering our things we were quiet and visibly excited about getting to Drakesbad for Ian's birthday. Rushing through the day I don't remember much. Until we hit a bright sea foam green lake! We smelt sulphur and new we were next to hot springs and our location for the zero day.

We dropped our packs and were welcome by a very friendly German staff. We relaxed in the hot springs, took showers, did laundry and feasted on a huge barbecue.

Between the great food, thermal pools, all the goodies sent to us via USPS (thank you!), and Ian's birthday we are very happy and excited for the day off to come.
