This morning the rain was still pouring and there were flash flood warnings for our area. We watched The Weather Channel and tried to play Scrabble before we started watching "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?"

We finally decided to take the zero day and I spent some time updating my blog and trying to catch up on phone, text, email and Facebook, as well as air out my gear in the RV. It leaked a bit, so it wasn't entirely dry, but none of my stuff got wet. I even stuffed newspaper in my sopping wet shoes. This was a nice zero day, and nobody else wanted to go hike in that rain either. I got a lot done and it's another late night as I head to bed.
