I haven't been feeling my best since I got sick and I finally felt better by the end of the day today. So we made a bigger goal and aimed for Thomas Knob Shelter. We got a late start, again, though and didn't quite make it. We are camped in a field of cows, under some trees. We met Mr Inks on Buzzard Rock and read in the register that Rockin Robin got sick with the noro virus on the same night I did, but at the shelter. Then she hiked 12 miles the next day. She is tougher than I am, though maybe she didn't get it as bad as I did.

We almost camped three miles sooner, but got a late motivation and hiked almost until dark and then just found a little semi flat slot for our tents. If we hadn't done that then we wouldn't have seen the beautiful sunset from the bench. I got pictures just as it was ending. I hope they turn out.
