I'm still at the Allentown Shelter. Eagle Eye pulled something in her knee when she almost fell off the Knife Edge, and my foot could use a rest, so I agreed to take a zero day here at this awesome shelter. In the early afternoon City Slicker and Jake came in. City Slicker said he was almost hit by lightening today, crossing the Knife Edge. He tossed his poles over the side and then, knowing the trail turned to the right after the rocks, he climbed on down the right side, too. He was finished for the day after that, even though the rain had mostly stopped by the afternoon.
